1. QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:
a) i. MBBS
or Equivalent Medical Qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental
Council (PMDC);
ii. Postgraduate Qualifications in order of
preference: D.Sc, Ph.D, FCPS, M.D, M.Phil, M.S/ M.Sc,(of two years duration) in
the subject/ speciality or in Community Medicine/ Community Health/ Public
Health with major subject or dissertation in Medical Entomology and
Parasitology / Tropical Medicine or Equivalent Qualifications recognized by the
PMDC.
If
a person with the above Qualifications are not available, then;
i. M.Sc from a recognized University in
Zoology/ Microbiology/ Medical Entomology & Parasitology.
ii. Candidates without a basis Medical
Qualification shall be eligible for appointment provided they possess atleast
D.Sc or Ph.D degree and provided a Medical Graduate with requisite
Qualification is not available.
Note: Persons without Postgraduate Qualification or Minor Diploma
holders are not eligible for appointment
as Professor.
b) Three Years Teaching
Experience as Associate Professor in the subject, provided that the total
Teaching Experience as Assistant / Associate Professor is not less than 08
Years OR 09 Years Teaching Experience as Assistant Professor in the subject in
a recognized Medical Institution.
c) Must have produced at least
two Research Papers during three years as Associate Professor in a recognized
Medical Institution OR
At
least Five Research Papers must have been published in a Standard Medical
Journal while working as Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor in a
recognized Medical Institution

d. Domicile certificate of relevant
district of Province of Punjab issued on or before the closing date.
e. In case of Government Servant, the
Departmental Permission Certificate (available on web site) duly signed &
stamped by the Competent Authority of concerned Department .
f. Experience certificate (specimen
available on website) issued from competent authority i.e. Health
Department. Dates of experience on
current charge basis must be mentioned in accordance with the office orders.
g. Valid C.N.I.C.
h. Disability certificate, if 'Yes' in Column 20 of Online Application form
has been ticked.
i. Passport size photograph.
j. Foreign qualification(s) must be
recognized by P.M.D.C and declared equivalent by the Q.E.D.C of the Health
Department.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. Applicants
are required to submit ONLINE
Application Forms by the Closing Date which is 13-10-2015. Candidates should fill the online form carefully for
which detailed guidelines and instructions have been given on Punjab Public
Service Commission's website www.ppsc.gop.pk. Editing options, to correct any
data, will be available to the candidates till
the last date of submission of online applications. Applications other than ONLINE will not be accepted.
2. Candidates will have to deposit Rs:300/- for Sr.
No. 189 and Rs:400/- for Sr. No. 190,
191, 192 & 193 under head:“C02101-ORGANIZATIONS OF
STATE-EXAMINATION FEE REALIZED BY THE PUNJAB PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION”, in any Branch of State
Bank of Pakistan or National Bank
of Pakistan or Government Treasury before the closing
date and receipt number will be mentioned in the Online Application Form.
Original Receipt will be produced at the
time of Written Test, Interview/
Viva voce without which candidates will not be allowed to appear in the Test,
Interview / Viva voce. Original Receipt will be retained by PPSC for record purposes.
3. Disabled candidates intending to appear
in the Punjab Public Service Commission’s tests / examinations are exempted of application / examination fee.
4. HARD COPY of ON-LINE
Application Form is not required for the posts BS-17 and below.
5. Candidates

about date, time and venues for Written Test / Exam. No candidate will be informed about the date
of Written Test / Interview individually. The candidates should remain in touch

information.
7. Schedule
of interviews for the said posts will be uploaded on the Commission's website
from where candidates can download their Call-up- letter and information about date, time and venue of interview. No
candidate will be informed about the date of interview individually. The
